New “Vikingbank” ordered

 

Cetus AS order a combined purseseiner/trawler from Fitjar Mek. Verksted AS.

 

Less than two years after last ordering a new fishing vessel from the shipyard in Fitjar, Norway, the owners order another Salt-designed fishing vessel from the same yard.

The owners have again been working closely with the designers at Salt to develop an effective, modern and environmentally friendly vessel.

In addition to local cooperation between owners, designers and shipyard, there will be several local suppliers delivering equipment to the newbuild.

The 65 m fishing vessel has a beam of 14 meters and will be delivered from the shipyard in September 2020.
