Transparency Act

Salt Ship Design AS is subject to the Norwegian Transparency Act that entered into force 1 July 2022.

The purpose is to promote companies respect for fundamental human rights and working conditions for business partners and in supply chains. An essential part of the law is to ensure the public’s access to information regarding conditions and how we handle them. This involves the duty to carry out and report on due diligence assessments. This again mean that businesses must map possible negative impacts on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions in own organization and within business partners and supply chains, implement improvement measures, follow up and report.

At Salt Ship Design we work continuously to ensure that our business safeguard basic human rights and decent working conditions. We work continuously on social responsibility in accordance with a code of conduct that commits both our own employees and suppliers.

Upon written request, any person has the right to information on how we address actual and potential impacts subject to The Norwegian Transparancy Act.
