Three more SALT – vessels ordered

We are pleased to announce that three SALT-designed vessels have been ordered this week.

The first two vessels are two live fish carriers ordered by DESS Aquaculture Shipping AS from Sefine and are sister vessels of the live fish carriers already under construction at the Turkish yard. The vessels will have a capacity of 3.500 m3.

Delivery of the two vessels will be Q1 and Q2 2020, and will enter long term contracts for Marine Harvest, Norway, directly upon delivery.

The third SALT-designed vessel ordered this week is a Wind Farm Service Operation Vessel (SOV) for Louis Dreyfus Armateurs (LDA) in Paris.

The new SOV will be built at Cemre Shipyard in Turkey and will be sister vessel to the SOV already under construction at Cemre. Upon delivery, the new vessel will enter contract with Ørsted A/S, the largest energy company in Denmark.

With the three new vessels, there are now twenty SALT-designs under construction within the following segments: wind , fishing, aquaculture, offshore and yacht.
