Structures

We are seeking structure engineer with relevant experience from Class drawings and structural calculations.

Job description

  • Preparation of Structural Class drawings, i.e. Profile & Plan, Midship Section, Class foundations, etc.

  • Coordination between Class society, owner, shipyard etc.

  • Coordination between internal ship design disciplines

Qualifications

  • Structural Engineer MSc, or equivalent.

  • Experience from structural Class drawings

  • Experience from Cadmatic Hull (Nupas) is an advantage

Outfitting/Arrangements

For our Outfitting discipline we are seeking a dedicated person to join our team preparing arrangements.

Job description

  • Preparation of documentation subject to approval by class society/flag authorities, i.e. Safety arrangements / Nautical arrangements

  • Preparation of various arrangement/equipment drawings, i.e. deck- and mooring arrangements

  • Participation in preparation of workshop drawings

  • Participation in meetings with ship owners, yards and, equipment suppliers


Qualifications

  • Technical degree, Bachelor or Master

  • Experience from preparation of arrangement drawings is an advantage

  • Preferably experience with software such as Autocad, Cadmatic and Microsoft Office

Marine Engineering

For our Marine Engineering discipline, we are seeking an experienced Piping Engineer.

Job description

  • Coordination and routing of pipes, cable trays, ducts and equipment in 3D

  • Preparation of drawings based on 3D model, i.e. layout drawings, coordination drawings and isometrics

  • Participation in meetings with ship owners and yards

Qualifications

  • Experience from 3D modelling, preferably in Cadmatic

  • Excellent team player

  • Knowledge of marine machinery systems and schematics

 
Front-end Development

We would like to strengthen our team in Poland developing our core business applications which are used by Salt’s engineers and customers.

Your main focus as a Front-End developer will be to design responsive and multi-platform designs for our applications.

 Job description

  • Build Front-end designs together with our full-stack developers.

  • Design, develop, test and deploy new code to our production environment

  • Collaborate with our development team and end-users

Qualifications

  • We do not require any prior work experience, and if you are still in school do not hesitate to contact us.

  • Good knowledge of JavaScript

  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Vue.js and Bootstrap

  • Relevant education is an advantage

  • Backend capabilities such as knowledge about PHP, databases, servers etc is an advantage

Project Development

The Project Development team develops new designs in cooperation with clients and provide relevant support and documentation throughout the vessel’s lifetime. The Stability discipline is integrated in the Project Development team.

Job description

  • Responsible for preparing stability and stability-related documentation for flag and class approval

  • Relevant support and coordination with all other disciplines throughout the basic and detail design stages

  • Stability and stability-related calculations, studies and design input in initial design phase in cooperation with rest of Project Development team

  • Lightship weight estimates and control

  • Organization, execution and documentation of inclining tests

Qualifications

  • MSc in Naval Architecture (or equivalent)

  • Excellent team player and excellent communication skills

  • Ability to take responsibility for own projects and the progress of these

  • Ambition to become an expert in stability, and at the same time gain good understanding of all other disciplines

  • Passionate about the technical aspects of ship design

  • Experience with NAPA and/ or AutoCAD is an advantage
